Ms Luck was hiking with her partner when she fell from the notorious Crib Goch ridge on December 19, NorthWalesLive reports.

Rescuers were alerted by the 47-year-old’s partner and others on the peak who heard shouting.

A coastguard rescue helicopter from Caernarfon and Llanberis mountain rescuers were called out and Ms Luck was put on board the aircraft but sadly succumbed to her injuries shortly before 3pm.

The mountain rescue volunteers escorted the woman’s partner back down to safety.

The tragedy came to light after North Wales Police appealed for help to find a missing black and tan Collie cross dog, understood to have belonged to Ms Luck.

Adjourning the inquest until a later date, acting senior coroner Katie Sutherland said: "Victoria Naiomi Luck's unnatural death is a matter for inquest.

"As my investigation into her death remains ongoing, the full inquest will be adjourned pending completion of these investigations."
