Taylor Ward has announced she has given birth to a baby girl. The daughter of former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward announced back in February that she and her footballer beau Riyad Mahrez were expecting their first child together.
The loved-up couple were holidaying in the Maldives when Taylor and the Manchester City footballer decided to share their news with a snap from an idyllic beach. It showed Taylor debuting her blossoming baby bump in a white swimsuit while gazing adoringly at her fiancé and holding a string of ultrasound pictures.
"Where life begins and love never ends," the pair captioned the identical posts to their Instagram pages. And now they have took to the social media platform to announce their daughter's arrival.
Taylor, 23, took to Instagram on Friday night(July 8) to reveal that she and Riyad, who got engaged last summer, had become parents at the beginning of the month. She shared the first picture of their newborn sleeping soundly in a car seat with a pink floral backdrop along with a sign reading: "Welcome to the world baby girl".
Another snap showed huge bouquets of flowers and more pink designs, while Mila's name was written in large lettering on a wall. She then confirmed the couple's happy news by penning: "One week of loving you.. Mila Mahrez 01.07.22" alongside white heart emojis.
And the congratulatory messages soon came flooding in for the pair. Taylor's sister Derby, who welcomed her own daughter into the world last year, replied: "My little niece, so proud of you T! She is beautiful. Loose Women star Denise Welch said: "So happy for you Taylor and very happy to babysit!!!" Model Danielle Lloyd wrote: "Congratulations gorgeous girl love you she is beautiful."
Reality star Charlotte Dawson commented: "Congrats my beautiful girl. Can’t wait for snuggles," before adding: "She is so beautiful." Dawn's former RHOC co-stars Nicole Sealy and Seema Malhotra both shared: "Congratulations to you all."
Riyad took to Instagram with his own snap of his daughter. Showing her tiny feet while wearing a 'Welcome to the world' baby grow, the 31-year-old footballer wrote: "Welcome to my baby."
Dawn, 48, also said she couldn't wait to introduce her second grandchild to the world. Alongside a snap of the her with the newborn nuzzled into her shoulder, she wrote: "Can’t contain my excitement to introduce my second Grandchild Mila Mahrez she’s just perfect, words can’t describe how much we love her! Me and @ashersnine couldn’t be prouder of @taylorwardx you’re such an amazing mummy you blow us away everyday!
@riyadmahrez26.7 we couldn’t ask for a better partner for our daughter and the best Daddy ever, feeling totally blessed we love you so much and so happy we’re all one big family. Honestly feeling on top of the world."
