Celtic have already signed Kieran Tierney on a free with the Scotland internationalist to rejoin the club from Arsenal.
However, Brendan Rodgers has vowed he will fight to keep Taylor beyond the summer as he refused to concede the player will leave.
Quizzed on Taylor's future in a Sky Sports interview, Rodgers responded to a question on whether it would be reading too much into the situation by the fact Taylor was unavailable to pick up his man of the match award.

The Celtic boss responded: "I'll always fight to the very end for a player and a person like Greg.
"He's earned the right to make the decision he wants, but I think you see in his performance today how important someone is in that role for us.
"It opens up so much, and he plays like a midfield player for us. We'll always try to convince (him to stay). But we'll see what happens come the end of the season."
