Taylor Swift is full of surprises recently. On Wednesday, October 26, Swift popped up at Bon Iver’s concert, at the OVO Arena Wembley, London, singing her song Exile alongside Bon Iver’s frontman Justin Vernon and The National’s Aaron Dessner. The song is from her album, Folklore.

It was the first time Swift, Vernon, and Dessner had performed the song together live.

Videos of the rendition have since gone viral and fans have reacted to the surprise moment.

One fan likened the moment to what she imagines is the feeling of being in Heaven.

Another fan said that they wouldn’t be able to cope if they were at the concert.

Others were so happy to be there that they couldn’t get their words out.

As they finished the song, Vernon said, “The most talented person in the world, Taylor Swift,” to which she replied: “The most talented person in the world, Justin Vernon.”

Back in July, Swift also made an appearance during Haim’s concert. The group played Gasoline, while Swift sang parts of her hit song, Love Story.

Dessner collaborated with Swift on the deluxe version of Midnights, which is titled the 3am edition. The Great War, High Infidelity, and Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve were co-written and co-produced by Dessner and he also co-wrote and co-produced Hits Different.

On the release, frontman of Bon Iver Justin Vernon said: “It’s the 10-year anniversary of our album release, Bon Iver, Bon Iver.

“We’ve gotten to be on the ground floor of something new,” he added, noting that “it’s not just two stacks of speakers in a room anymore”.

Swift’s recent rollout of new album Midnights was another surprise for fans, sending them into a frenzy.

A TikTok revealing the news was posted at midnight on Wednesday, September 21. In the video, the singer-songwriter sits next to a lottery ball spin machine filled with 13 balls, for the album’s 13 songs. The album went on to become Spotify’s most-streamed album in one day.

“And before the clock could even strike midnight on October 22nd, Taylor Swift broke the record for most-streamed album in a single day in Spotify history. Congratulations, @taylorswift13,” the platform’s official account tweeted.

“How did I get this lucky, having you guys out here doing something this mind blowing?! Like what even just happened??!?!” Swift tweeted, reacting to the news.

It also became the first album in Nielsen history to break 500,000 vinyl copies sold in the first week. Midnights’ 1.4 million equivalent units sold is the most an album has sold in its debut week, since Adele’s 25 came out in 2015.

She said to the audience: “Good evening London. You know, I haven’t been on the stage for a very long time, it’s nice, it’s nice, it’s very nice. But, you know, when I heard that my girls were playing in London at the O2 and I thought, ‘I’m gonna have to see that,’ and it looks like there’s about 20,000 other people that also thought that.”
