Taylor Swift's tribute to London fans after 'surreal' run of shows as Travis Kelce 'proud' to be dating star

Taylor Swift has paid tribute to her London fans, saying the Wembley Stadium crowds were some of the “loudest” she has encountered and she will "never forget" the shows.

The singer recently wrapped up her first round of Eras Tour performances in the capital, selling out the UK's largest venue and performing to 89,000 people over three consecutive nights.

The concerts were nothing short of spectacular, featuring appearances from some of Britain’s biggest celebrities, guest duets with Hayley Williams and Gracie Abrams, and even a surprise onstage appearance by her NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Swift shared two photos of herself on stage with Kelce, capturing the moment he swept her off her feet and carried her. She also included images of her playing the piano with Paramore's Hayley Williams and Gracie Abrams, along with some general shots from the show.

The singer penned alongside the photos: “Wembley Stadium round one was so surreal. Looking out into crowds of 90,000 fans each night and hearing that VOLUME… Those were some of the loudest crowds I've ever heard.

“Acoustic sections went OFF. I got to sing 'Castles Crumbling' with @yelyahwilliams for the first time - hadn't performed with her since 2011 and man my heart was just so full of love for her and our friendship.

“Then the impossibly gifted and wonderful @gracieabrams came and surprised the crowd with the first performance of our song 'us.' And I'm still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav's Eras Tour debut.

“Never going to forget these shows. Can't wait to do it 5 more times in August. Up next: Dublin!!”

Her tribute to London comes as Kelce expressed his admiration for his superstar girlfriend, and insisted that he would never hide their relationship.

Over the years, Swift, 34, has faced criticism for her public relationships, a backlash she has described as sexist. However, her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn was notably private, with the British actor later revealing they had mutually decided to keep their love life out of the spotlight.

In contrast to Alwyn, who split from Swift last year, Kelce, also 34, shared his pride in their public romance, saying: “You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything. That’s my girl, you know what I mean? That’s my lady, so I’m proud of that.”

Speaking on the Bussin' With The Boys podcast, the NFL tight end mentioned that while it was a delicate balance, he wasn't overly concerned about the attention.

He admitted: “I’m not trying to juggle, like, 'how can I keep this under wraps?' You just don’t want to let everyone into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline.”

Praising his girlfriend of 10 months, he continued: “She's very self-aware... She understands situations like that, and I think that's why I really started to fall for her, how genuine she is just around friends and family.

“It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she keeps it so chill and so cool, and I can admire it for sure.”
