This marks Swift's twelfth No. 1 album in the U.K., an impressive feat that places her in the company of music legends.

With this achievement, Swift now shares the fifth-most No. 1 albums in the U.K. with iconic artists Bruce Springsteen and Madonna, all boasting 12 chart-topping albums. Prior to this, Swift was on par with U2, Rod Stewart, and David Bowie, each with 11 No. 1 albums, but she has now surpassed them.

The Tortured Poets Department's debut at No. 1 in the U.K. was met with great success, garnering 270,000 equivalent units. This achievement also led to a chart double for Swift, as the album's lead single, 'Fortnight' featuring Post Malone, also secured the top spot on its respective chart.
