Taylor Swift's setlist for The Eras Tour revealed - and it's bound to divide fans

It's been five years since Taylor Swift last hit the road, with her award-winning Reputation Stadium Tour ending in November 2018.

Fans were then expecting to see the superstar take to the stage again after the release of her seventh album Lover, as she announced a worldwide tour known as Lover Fest, which would see her joined by many of her celeb pals.

Unfortunately the pandemic hit and the Lover Era never truly got to have its moment - until now.

The 33-year-old singer-songwriter is finally back on tour and has kicked off The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, which has been renamed Swift City by the mayor while Taylor is in town.

The Eras Tour is a celebration of all of Swift's different eras, from her first song, Tim McGraw, all the way through to her most recent album, Midnights.

Fans have spent months since the tour's announcement wondering which songs from the star's impressive discography would make it onto the setlist and it seems we finally have answers.

The setlist features a whopping 44 tracks, which took over three hours to perform and it's a nice selection from each of Swift's albums, Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights and her performances for each saw her don some iconic outfits, including sparkly gold dresses with beaded tassels, crop tops and mini skirts and an incredible bedazzled ballgown.

While diehard Swifties are bound to be delighted with the tour regardless of what she plays, some fans might be divided over the choices that have been made - especially if they were hoping to hear more from the debut and Speak Now eras.

But with over 200 songs under her belt, Swift was never going to have been able to play everything or please everyone.

And while this setlist should mostly remain the same throughout the tour, the singer did confirm she would be playing a different acoustic track each night, which would be exclusive to that show.

The U.S. leg of The Eras Tour will continue around America, ending in Los Angeles on August 9.

Various different support acts will join Swift throughout the duration, including Paramore, HAIM, Gracie Abrams, and Phoebe Bridgers.

International dates for the tour have yet to be announced but fans in the UK and beyond are likely to be nervous about nabbing tickets after the initial fiasco with Ticketmaster.

General sale for the U.S. Eras Tour dates had to be cancelled after a botched pre-sale saw all of the tickets snapped up and then many of them went on to be sold on re-sale sites online for thousands of dollars more than the original price.
