Taylor Swift had a simple three-word response after being met with loud boos at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The 35-year-old singer appeared visibly surprised when fans at the Caesars Superdome jeered as she was shown on the jumbotron early in the game.
The crowd, dominated by Philadelphia Eagles supporters, reacted negatively due to her support for boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs, who suffered a crushing 22-40 defeat to the Eagles.
A lip reader later claimed that Swift turned to a friend and said, "Aww, what? What's going on?" while giving a side-eye reaction to the stadium’s response.

The night also saw President Donald Trump take swipe at Swift on Truth Social, claiming, “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”
Trump also shared footage of the moment, comparing the crowd’s reaction to Swift with the cheers he received when shown on the jumbotron before the national anthem.
However, Swift’s friend Serena Williams quickly came to her defense, posting on X, "I love you @taylorswift13 don’t listen to those boos!!"
A source close to Kelce later told the Daily Mail that he was “heartbroken” watching Swift face the hostility, adding that he “felt helpless” as the incident unfolded.
"Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him," the insider shared.
"He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn't help."
The Standard has contacted Travis Kelce’s rep for comment.
Swift was also targeted by Kanye West before he deleted his X account, who also expressed gratitude to Elon Musk for giving him a platform to “vent.”
On Friday, the rapper, now known as Ye, shared a series of antisemitic and offensive remarks, sparking backlash across the platform. Despite calls for his permanent ban — including from Friends star David Schwimmer — West continued posting over the weekend.
As the 2025 Super Bowl took place on Sunday, users noticed that a caution message had been placed on his profile, stating: “Caution: This profile may include potentially sensitive content.” Similar warnings were applied to all images and videos on his account.

Despite the content warning, West continued posted. Before logging off, the 47-year-old wrote: “I'm logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent.
“It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board. It was like an Ayahuasca trip. Love all of you who gave me your energy and attention. To we connect again. Good afternoon and good night.”
During the game, which featured Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance, West also posted a rant about Taylor Swift, who was at the New Orleans Superdome supporting her boyfriend Kelce.
Referencing Lamar’s song Not Like Us, West wrote: “IF ITS ABOUT THE CULTURE ... WHY ARE WE LETTING TAYLOR SWIFT BE SEEN ON TV SINGING A SONG ABOUT TAKING A BLACK MAN DOWN AND ACCUSING OF THINGS THAT CAN TAKE A BLACK MAN DOWN FOR LIFE.”
