Taylor Swift's boyfriend and NFL star Travis Kelce set for Happy Gilmore 2 cameo

Travis Kelce got his wish as Adam Sander has confirmed he is set to appear in a cameo role in Happy Gilmore 2.

Appearing on The Jimmy Fallon Show on Tuesday night, Sandler, 57, said the words Kelce had by dying to hear and was full of praise for the NFL player.

"We have a nice something for Travis," Sandler told US chat show host Fallon. "He's gonna come by."

Adding: "He's a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud and he’s so funny."

The Kansas City Chiefs star is a huge fan of the original film and said back in May on his New Heights podcast that he would “do anything” to be involved.

“Man, I didn’t even know there was a job opening,” he told his brother Jason.”'I'll be a f***ing extra, anything to get around Happy Gilmore, an Adam Sandler film or set - count me in.

“I'll do anything in the movie. I’ll be part of it any way I possibly can.”

The Tight End was also pictured wearing a Happy Gilmore cap at Coachella this year when he attended the music festival alongside girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Kelce’s plan to make a name for himself off the football field and in front of the camera intends to be growing legs.

Next month, Kelce will appear in Ryan Murphy’s new drama series Grotesquerie.

He has been lined-up to host gameshow Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity, which will be released on Amazon Prime in October.

The three-time Super Bowl winner is also reportedly in talks to appear in another big upcoming movie, Loose Cannons, produced by John Wick filmmaker, Chad Stahelski.
