The 'Bakealicious Eras Cake' was designed with Swift's preferences in mind, featuring a purple flower in the middle to reflect her favorite color. Oporto incorporated elements from one of Swift's favorite American cakes, adding a South-American touch with dulce de leche and puff pastry layers.
The cake was finished with puff pastry horns filled with dulce de leche Swiss-meringue buttercream. Swift's team allowed Oporto creative freedom with the flavors, requesting options for vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free diets. In addition to the special cake, Oporto prepared an assortment of treats, including gluten-free brownies, vegan cupcakes, Victoria sponge cake, Scrumptious Chocolate Cake, and gluten-free Lamington cakes.
Oporto has previously baked for global superstars like Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran during their tour stops in Sydney. The cake made for Swift was described as a unique creation specifically designed for her and her team. While feedback from Swift's team is pending, Oporto has made the cake available for purchase on her website, along with Taylor Swift-themed cupcakes.
