Swifties, get ready for 'teardrops on your wallets' as Taylor Swift gears up to make this Black Friday a new event for the eras.
The singer-songwriter has just announced two new products: the official photo book of her 'The Eras Tour' and two new versions of her latest album—a special edition vinyl and CD of The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.
"We'll be kicking off the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to comprehend. This tour has been the most wondrous experience, and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we created together in a special way. Well, two ways, actually. Excited to announce The Official Eras Tour Book, filled with my personal reflections, never-before-seen behind the scenes photos, all the magical memories you brought every single night, AND... The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD," Swift shared via her social media.
The Eras Tour Photo Book
The official photo book will offer a visual compilation of the most unforgettable moments from her world tour, which has been a global phenomenon since it kicked off in March 2023.
Featuring over 500 exclusive behind-the-scenes images, as well as snapshots from her performances, this book is the perfect way to relive the tour experience and celebrate the unique connection Taylor has shared with her fans. It will even include Taylor's own thoughts.
The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology
Music lovers and collectors are also in for a treat with 'The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology,' available in both vinyl and CD formats.
Taylor's newest album, initially released on April 19, 2024, expands upon her previous work 'The Tortured Poets Department,' offering Swifties a total of 31 tracks that delve into the complexities of past relationships, fame, and the search for identity.
Standout tracks include I Can Fix Him (No Really, I Can), where the singer reflects on the belief that she could change a troubled partner—a song that fans have linked to her rumored brief romance with British musician Matty Healy of The 1975.
Another significant track, 'Clara Bow,' touches on the pressures of public life and the pain that comes with it, making references to iconic "It girls" from entertainment history. Themes of public perception reappear in 'Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?' where she tackles the scrutiny and pressure of her fame head-on.
With 'The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology,' Taylor continues to showcase her storytelling mastery, solidifying her legacy in the music industry. Now, Swifties can enjoy it on vinyl, giving the work an extra layer of warmth and nostalgia.
The Final 'Era' of 'The Eras Tour'
'The Eras Tour' is currently in its final phase, set to wrap up in December 2024 in Vancouver, Canada. Since it began, the tour has been an overwhelming success, selling out stadiums worldwide and drawing millions of fans.
The next shows will take place on October 25, 26, and 27 in New Orleans, Louisiana, followed by a three-day run in Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 1-3. Swift will then head to Canada for six shows in Toronto, starting on November 14 and finishing on November 23, before concluding with three final performances in Vancouver on December 6, 7, and 8.
Where to Get Taylor Swift's New Products
Both 'The Official Eras Tour Photo Book,' packed with behind-the-scenes images, memories, and reflections, and 'The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology' vinyl and CD will be available exclusively at Target stores starting November 29.
However, given Taylor's business savvy, it's safe to assume that these products will soon find their way onto her official website.
