Taylor Swift Kicks Off European Leg Of The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift performs during "The Eras Tour," Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Swift received six Grammy nominations on Friday.

Taylor Swift recently kicked off the European leg of The Eras Tour in Paris, showcasing a new sparkly red leotard and knee-high red boots. This marked her first performance since the release of her latest album, 'The Tortured Poets Department,' prompting a set list change to incorporate her newest material. Songs like 'But Daddy I Love Him,' 'So High School,' 'Who's Afraid of Little Old Me,' and 'Down Bad' were added to the set list, reflecting the new era of her music.

Swift expressed the significance of songwriting in her life, stating that the album served as a lifeline for her during a concert in Melbourne, Australia, prior to its release. Sydney Sweeney made a fashion statement in New York with shimmering bronze patterned microshorts paired with a gray ensemble, drawing comparisons to singer Billie Eilish at the Met Gala.

LeAnn Rimes captivated audiences in London with her hit songs, donning a black leotard and performing barefoot on a cozy stage adorned with candles. Fans praised her performance, with one expressing gratitude for singing their favorite song 'Please Remember' from the film 'Coyote Ugly.'

Meanwhile, Madonna continued to captivate audiences on The Celebration Tour, with a recent performance in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her dazzling costumes, including a bedazzled strapless mini dress inspired by the Brazilian flag, wowed an estimated 1.6 million attendees at a free show on Copacabana Beach, marking the tour's grand finale after kicking off in London in October 2023.
