Award-winning singer Taylor Swift is excited that former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Mecole Hardman is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift is the girlfriend of star Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. She was unable to attend Kansas City’s Super Bowl ring ceremony in-person, but she tuned in digitally from Liverpool, England.
The Chiefs celebrated back-to-back Super Bowl victories on June 13. Mecole Hardman recently signed a one-year deal to return to the Chiefs after being a free agent. Hardman has already won three Super Bowls and is looking for more.
Hardman, who made the game-winning touchdown catch in overtime of the Super Bowl, is hoping to have a more productive 2024 NFL season. He finished 2023 with a career-low 15 catches for 124 receiving yards and no touchdowns. Hardman began the 2023 season with the New York Jets, but things did not work out and Hardman eventually returned to the Chiefs were he was much more productive.
