Taylor Swift fans Wildest Dreams come true as popstar announces extra Eras tour dates

Swifties' Wildest Dreams have come true after the US popstar has announced 14 new tour dates in her European visit - with four new shows planned in the UK and Ireland. Taylor Swift kicked off her Eras tour - aptly full of songs from every era of her music - in the US in March and is due to play across South America later this year.

It is the first time in five years Taylor has performed in the UK and fans are more than ...Ready For It. Swift confirmed the new dates on Twitter, as well as revealing US rock band Paramore would be joining her trip across Europe.

The cardigan singer wrote: "Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour. And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???"

It won't be a Cruel Summer next year, with new shows added in Edinburgh, Liverpool and London in the UK and an third show confirmed for Ireland. While Irish fans will be Breathless at the thought of another concert in Dublin, the announcement means Tay-Tay will be in Ireland for the whole of the Glastonbury Festival and a surprise or headline appearance has now been ruled out.

Swift will play at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff - just an hour from Bristol - on June 18. Cardiff was the only UK city on her tour schedule not to get an additional gig and some in the South West may be feeling some Bad Blood.

Her Eras tour will take fans through her many hits, from 2008, when a Love Story craze swept through pre-teens, to her TikTok trending Anti-Hero. The UK and Europe leg of Taylor Swift The Eras Tour will kick off on May 9, 2024 in Paris and end in London on August 17, 2024.
