Taylor Swift fans warned of strict ticket limit rules for three Eras Tour shows in Dublin

Taylor Swift fans are being warned that there will be strict rules on the number of tickets they can buy for her upcoming Dublin shows next year.

The 'Blank Space' hit-maker is set to play in the Aviva Stadium on June 28, 29 and 30 in 2024. On Wednesday, Taylor Swift fans who registered for tickets via Ticketmaster Ireland received an email about the gigs.

The 33-year-old star is currently touring north America as part of her 'The Eras Tour', but next year she will be in Dublin to perform three exciting gigs in the Aviva Stadium in June. For lucky fans who received an email this week and successfully secured the ‘on sale code’ or a special presale, they are being reminded that when the tickets start going on sale next week that there's a limit to how many they can get at checkout.

According to Ticketmaster Ireland, Swifties can only buy four tickets per household via a Ticketmaster account once through to checkout during the pre-sale and general sale. Fans not selected at first for registration will be placed on a waitlist, and may receive an invitation to join the sale if further tickets become available.

Here's everything you need to know about ticket restrictions, what Ticketmaster has said, and important dates for ticket sales in Ireland.

How many tickets can I buy for Taylor Swift's Dublin gigs?

Ticketmaster Ireland has confirmed that they have set a limit of a maximum of four (4) tickets allowed to be purchased at check-out. Ticketmaster said on its website: "Purchasers are held to a ticket limit of 4 (four)."

Ticketmaster has said that they have restricted the number of tickets you are allowed purchase at check-out to four so that all fans have a fair chance of getting Taylor Swift tickets. They've also limited the number of tickets that you can buy in a bid to stop ticket touting and bots from buying large numbers of tickets.

A Ticketmaster Ireland spokesperson said: "Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while currently available inventory lasts. It’s a simple, standard purchase process and the steps below will help you navigate your search and purchase.

"We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available. Please note, receiving a purchase link and code does not guarantee you tickets. Ticket availability is limited."

Can I still go in a big group to Taylor Swift's Dublin gigs?

If you want to go in a big group to see Taylor in Dublin's Aviva Stadium next June, you can of course go with your friends and family - but everyone in the group will need a valid ticket to gain entry.

Since there is a maximum of four tickets allowed to be bought once through to checkout, you could scoop up a ticket for yourself and 3 friends or family members using your Ticketmaster Ireland account. But a group larger than four will require someone else to have bought more tickets, so it will all depend on the options available to those in your group.
