Taylor Swift fans have been warned to stop "creating an incredibly unsafe environment" amid reports of people chasing her car and following her home.
The 33-year-old singer has been wowing concert goers during her The Eras Tour and has been spending time at Electric Lady Studios in New York in between shows.
Taylor was spotted leaving the recording studio with her rumoured new boyfriend Matty Healy last week and has since been seen at the venue with frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff.
As Taylor left the studio on Monday, a large crowd of fans started chasing her car as it drove her home.
Others were seen waiting outside her apartment hoping to catch a glimpse of her as she headed inside.
Some people have even shared TikTok videos of themselves waiting for the star.
People have now taken to Twitter to call out the unsafe behaviour.
"I would love to see Taylor Swift out in public and get to wave and say hi to but showing up to her work, mobbing around her car and camping outside of her F***ING HOME is NOT NORMAL. STOP DOING THAT," one person urged.
Another said: "Anyone who waited outside for taylor last night and chased her home… you aren't fans of taylor swift, the person, you are fans of Taylor Swift, the brand.
"You only care about how many likes your 0.5 second video of her sprinting to the car would get…"
"THANK GOD i've never been a creep who stalked taylor swift at her own home and chases her car," a third person tweeted.
Another Swiftie explained: "People are creating an incredibly unsafe environment for Taylor Swift right now by queueing up for HOURS just to get a 3 second video of her walking to her car."
Taylor and Matty were seen leaving the recording studio together amid reports he will be collaborating with her on her upcoming album.
The pair are said to have sparked a romance just weeks after news broke of Taylor's split from Joe Alwyn after six years together.
A source said: "Things are moving fast. They’re head over heels. It's been decided he will help her pen songs and he might even provide some vocals."
Speaking to The Sun, they added: "He's been inspired after attending several shows on her US tour."
