Taylor Swift fans 'stressed' as many say they've not received Ticketmaster presale email yet

Millions of Taylor Swift fans who have registered on Ticketmaster for the popstar's 2024 Eras Tour tickets are due to find out today (July 5) if they have been lucky enough to receive the all important presale code. The unique code will give fans a good chance to get presale tickets to the singer's tour next year - though this is not a guarantee.

Swifties had to register with Ticketmaster in advance (by June 22), to be able to purchase presale tickets for the highly-anticipated 2024 tour. It comes as the songstress is scheduled to take to the stage in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, Dublin and London next summer.

Lucky fans are set to get an email from the ticket retailer telling them they have been selected or not throughout today. They will then get a presale code allowing them access to tickets on the afternoon before tickets go on sale.

This has left many Swift fans "anxious", "stressed" and refreshing their emails "every few seconds" so far today. However, Ticketmaster has said that tickets will be provided on a "first come first serve basis" as demand will be extremely high - meaning even those who registered in advance may not even get codes sent to them.

Manifesting good luck, Timelesswft took to Twitter to write: "Ticketmaster is going to email me good news TODAY that I have been selected for presale for eras tour. I deserve to see Taylor Swift live. I surround myself with positive thinking and good thoughts. I have got this. I do not need to stress. Breathe."

Another fan, Rauhlslegendary, tweeted their frustration at not yet receiving an email, posting: "I NEED THAT CODE UGH! Ticketmaster im begging you. Good luck swifties"

Saamcarr added: "So are you normal or have you just been refreshing your emails all morning for your code for Taylor Swift tickets." Tattooqhearts typed: "Are you normal or do you feel violently ill over Taylor Swift verified fan selection emails."

Fans who do get an email, will receive it from the promoter AEG Presents and it will include information on the concert date they have signed up for. Ticketmaster said: "If you are selected to receive an access code, you will receive an email the afternoon before the ticket sales begin per the schedule above.

"This email will include timing details and a link to where the on-sale will occur, and your unique, non-transferrable access code."

Codes are non-transferable, "should not be shared" and are only valid up to the ticket limit of four. As so much depends on one email, fans are getting twitchy, with ManiceIIe admitting: "Jumping every time I get a new email and it's not a Taylor Swift eras tour email."

Ticketmaster has been approached for comment.
