Taylor Swift fans slam Nick Cannon for his 'pathetic and misogynistic' baby comments

Nick Cannon has been heavily criticised after revealing he would be "all in" to have baby number 13 with Taylor Swift.

The TV host, 42, joked he would "absolutely" have a child with the singer following her split from long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Nick said he would be able to "relate" to Taylor on a romantic level and said having a child with her "would be amazing".

The former Nickelodeon star also claimed that he and Taylor are "very similar" when it comes to their romantic history.

He said: "Like, me and Taylor's numbers [are] very similar when we talking about being in these streets.

"So I think she would relate to me very well based off of, you've dated a lot of people in the public eye, so have I, so we probably would really understand each other."

Swifties have been left outraged by Nick's remarks and have taken to social media to slam the presenter for his "pathetic and misogynistic" comments.

One fan tweeted: "This is how straight men display casual misogyny, in the guise of 'jokes'."

Another said: "Nothing has ever showcased Nick Cannon's disgusting misogyny quite like him publicly saying he wants to impregnate a famous stranger. I can't fathom thinking that was an okay thing to say, even if it's a 'joke'. Like wtf."

"How misogynistic and pathetic of both Stern and Cannon to suggest this, even in so-called 'jest'," a third Taylor fan wrote.

Another urged: "I have a really great sense of humor but this ain't it. In fact it's gross that this would even be a topic and something said out loud. Respect women."

Nick is already the father to 12 children with six different women.

He first became a dad back in 2011 when he welcomed twins, Monroe and Moroccan, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.

The TV personality is also the father to son Golden, six, daughter Powerful, two, and son Rise Messiah, six months, with Brittany Bell, son Legendary, nine months, with Bre Tiesi, daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, four months, and twins Zion and Zillion, one, with Abby de la Rosa.

He also shares daughter Onyx Ice, six months, with LaNisha Cole, and daughter Halo, three months, with Alyssa Scott.

The couple are also parents to their late son Zen Cannon, who died in December 2021 following a brain tumour.
