Taylor Swift fans have pointed out a very sweet detail about her new "boyfriend" Matty Healy.
American songstress Taylor, 33, is rumoured to be dating the frontman of The 1975, with them both stepping out in public a couple of times over the last few weeks.
And now fans of both Taylor and Matty have pointed out a sweet detail about their relationship.
One Twitter user took to the social media platform on Tuesday (May 16) to share two snaps of Taylor. One with her alleged ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, and one with her new reported beau Matty.
The first snap showed Taylor walking out of Electric Lady Studios with Matty, with the blonde beauty all smiles as she looked down at the ground.
While the second snap showed Taylor holding hands with Joe as they walked on a street, with Taylor looking glumly at the floor.
The tweet read: "Do you see the difference? I love how Matty walked several steps behind Taylor while still protected her. Matty doesn't put Taylor in the basement. He's not afraid of her shine. He lets her bejeweled [sic]."
Referencing Taylor's lyrics from he track Bejeweled, one fan replied: "He puts her in the penthouse of his heart," to which someone else replied: "Finally she gets the treatment she deserves."
Another fan also did a tweet about the sweet bond Taylor and Matty have, with them talking about how he lets her "walk at her own pace" and "leads her".
Sharing two videos, one of Joe and Taylor running from an awards ceremony into a car and another of Taylor and Matty departing the NYC recording studios, the fan wrote out the key difference between the clips.
"Remember when Taylor got dragged into the car while wearing heels and now with Matty he lets her walk out at her own pace while leading her and you can see the difference in her face she’s so happy now," wrote the fan alongside the two video clips.
"Can’t deny this. She seems so much more relaxed and just able to be herself," penned one fan.
Meanwhile, other Twitter users didn't seem as though they agreed, with one writing: "BEGGING you guys to stop acting like she had no autonomy with Joe."
"I will never the understand the hate this fandom has for Joe. Is it wrong to want your privacy? He has very different personality than Matty. Pls stop comparing. This is hilarious not in a funny way," penned a second.
