Taylor Swift fans 'pass out and throw up' as 'chaotic' Nashville show ravaged by storm

Taylor Swift 's fans were struck by a rainstorm while waiting for her delayed Nashville concert and were forced to flee for cover.

The storm hit the third show of the 33-year-old singer's Era's tour, which has gone well so far despite starting shortly after her recent breakup from long term boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

However, as heavy rain and wind hit the Nashville leg of the tour, fans claim they were "body to body" in the rain and had "wind hitting us from all sides" as they awaiting Taylor's performance.

“Fans were body to body with the rain and wind hitting us from the sides,” an attendee told Page Six. “The rain pooled around our feet as fans took their shoes off.”

The concertgoer added that fans were forced to "shelter in place" for almost four hours after a severe weather warning from Nissan Stadium.

The warning on Twitter read: "Shelter in Place. Lightning Advisory. For those in Nissan Stadium, please proceed to the shelter areas as directed by staff.

"Please remain calm and proceed to the covered and interior areas of the stadium."

The source said: “When we arrived, we were placed into forced shelter around 5:40 p.m. and had to remain there without movement until 9:30.

They then revealed that the crowd became restless in the chaotic conditions and many people had "panic attacks, got sick, threw up and passed out".

“Fans were getting antsy as they were being shoved into each other and security continuously kept trying to part their way through the masses," the source added.

The weather conditions also delayed an equally soaked Taylor, who arrived to the stage at 10pm instead of 8pm and performed until 2am, disregarding the initial curfew of 11pm.

“Fans traded bracelets and cried until we were released out to the show without openers," they continued.

The attendee stated that the "only reprieve" from the situation "was fans breaking into song together," confirming that the weather didn't ruin the entire experience for the Swifties.
