Taylor Swift fans have questioned how she manages such a busy schedule after her latest career announcement.
It was revealed that the American popstar, 32, will be directing her first ever feature-length film and has penned an original script for it. The movie will be produced by Searchlight Pictures, the studio behind Oscar-winning films such as Nomadland and The Shape Of Water.
Additional details about the film project will be announced in due course. Searchlight presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield said: “Taylor is a once-in-a-generation artist and storyteller. It is a genuine joy and privilege to collaborate with her as she embarks on this exciting and new creative journey.”

The singer has previously directed her own music videos, including the multi-award-winning All Too Well: The Short Film. Stranger Things star Sadie Sink and Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien starred in the nearly 15-minute video, which was also written by Taylor.
She went on to take home the coveted best video, best longform video and best direction gongs at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards for the music video. The achievement helped her make history as the only solo artist ever to be honoured with two best direction awards following her win at the 2020 award show for the music video of her song The Man.
The star released her tenth studio album, Midnights, in October this year which secured a Billboard first, occupying every spot in the Top 10 in the Hot 100 chart for songs. Taylor also announced a string of US tour dates for March 2023. The Eras Tour is also expected to come to the UK, with more details to be released soon.
Taylor has has a busy few years; during the pandemic in 2020, Taylor released two studio albums: her eighth Folklore and her ninth Evermore. She also released Fearless (Taylor's Version) in 2021, a re-recording of Fearless (2009) and Red (Taylor's Version) in 2021, a re-recording of Red (2012). Her Taylor Version's have come following a dispute with Big Machine over the rights to masters of her six studio albums.
With her latest announcement, fans have questioned how she is managing to fit all of her work commitments into a packed schedule. @emmajthatcher_ said: "if taylor swift can write 3 albums, re-record 2 albums, direct 5 music videos, plan a tour, and write an entire movie in two years then i can finish my finals".
@misamericana added: "i cant believe me and taylor swift have the same 24 hours in a day.. like she’s doing a world tour and directing a movie while i’m watching her do it from my bed" while @soitf**kingoes admitted: "i wish i had taylor swift's productivity like she released many albums, went to award shows, announced tour dates and had the time to write a whole ass movie to direct it like ??? all i do is eat and sleep and that's too much"
@futureofrep said: "so you’re telling me that in two years taylor swift had the time to make three new albums, rerecord two albums, direct a short film and a performance film and now she wrote a script for an original movie????" while @maggicbdj responded: "This woman DOES NOT sleep at all. I think we ALL know this given her lyrics (2 am, 3 am, midnight, in the middle of the night, etc.) so are we surprised about the amount of time she has to do ALL of that? Come on now... Be real."
