Taylor Swift recently deleted a video about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn days before her romance with Matty Healy emerged.
The 33-year-old and the British actor were together for six years and he was the inspiration behind many of her love songs.
However, it was reported last month that the pair struggled to make it work.
On Wednesday, it emerged that Taylor moved on with The 1975 frontman Matty - who welcomed Taylor on stage at one of his gigs earlier this year.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that one of her video reels on Instagram was deleted before the romance was reported.
She deleted the Behind The Song - Lavender Haze video from her page. The reel featured her chatting about her relationship with Joe.
Fans also noticed she removed the “Lavender Haze” music video link from her bio.
In the clip, Taylor opened up about having a relationship in the spotlight as she also discussed the song.
"I guess, theoretically, when you’re in the lavender haze, you’ll do anything to stay there and not let people bring you down off of that cloud," she explained.
"I think a lot of people have to deal with this now, not just ‘public figures,’ because we live in the era of social media, and if the world finds out that you’re in love with somebody they’re going to weigh in on it.
"Like my relationship for six years, we’ve had to dodge weird rumours, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it. This song is sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff."
It came a few days before it was said that Taylor and Denise Welch's son are set to make a public appearance together this weekend when she performs in Nashville, Tennessee.
According to sources, the two are already "madly in love".
They are said to have had to cope with a "lot of Face-Timing" in the early moments of the coupling as they are both busy with their touring schedules.
Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the Shake It Off star said: "She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right.
"They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out.
"Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover."
