Taylor Swift seemed to emotional during a performance at a concert over the weekend, with a clip circulating amid reports she's split from Matty Healy.
The singer-songwriter, 33, performed the ballad I Don't Want To Live Forever in her concert at Soldier Field stadium in Chicago on Saturday as part of her the Eras Tour.
One lyric in particular seemed to touch her, with Taylor seemingly emotional whilst she sang the line: "Wondering if I dodged a bullet or just lost the love of my life, oh."
Footage from the performance over the weekend has been circulating on social media in recent days amid the reports that she is no longer dating fellow singer Matty, 34.
And although some people have wondered if she was upset over Matty in the performance, some fans on Reddit suspect she was actually emotional over Joe Alwyn, 32.
Taylor and Joe are said to have begun dating in 2016 but reportedly split up earlier this year after around six years together. She was later romantically linked to Matty.
One person said: "If she was choking [up] I doubt it was about [Matty]. It was most likely to be about her almost 7-year-old relationship ending than a casual fling ending".
Another said: "Her emotions on stage are [probably] more about Joe than Matty. I think Matty was a way for her to feel good about herself at a time she needed to [for her tour]."
A third speculated that Matty helped "numb the pain from the break up with Joe". They suggested Taylor may now be "in the middle of processing the loss of a 6 year relationship".
"You can't rush the grieving stage of the end of such a significant relationship," another said about her rumoured split from Joe. One person said: "She must be heartbroken. I can't imagine."
One person said Taylor "seemed sad" in the show even before the song in question. They said "she cried or got choked up a few times" and added that "she choked up while singing [the previously mentioned] line" during the performance.
It was reported just days ago that Taylor and Matty had split up, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight : "They are both extremely busy and realised they're not really compatible with each other.
The source added: "Taylor's friends want what's best for her and aren't shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship."
Discussing the news, PR expert Matt Yanofsky suggested to us recently that Matty was just a 'rebound', saying: "He's allowed her to get her rebound out of the way after a long relationship".
