Taylor Swift has announced who will be supporting her on her epic and much-anticipated tour which comes to Cardiff in 2024. The pop superstar is currently taking her Eras Tour all over the world, taking in venues in the US, Argentina and Brazil throughout the summer.
She is heading to Asia and Australia next February and March before the European leg of the huge show kicks off next May. As if there wasn’t enough excitement about the 33-year-old star’s tour, she announced on Wednesday afternoon who her support act will be for the UK and European legs of the extravaganza, which will entertain millions of fans.
Grammy Award-winning American rock band Paramore will be the warm-up act at the Principality Stadium next June, and in every show she performs around Europe. Announcing the news on social media, Swift said: “Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour. And I get to travel the world doing shows with Paramore. Hayley (the band’s lead vocalist Hayley Williams) and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”
The 14 added shows referenced by Swift are in Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon, Lyon, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Milan, two in Gelsenkirchen, Warsaw, and Vienna. To the disappointment of thousands of Welsh fans, no further Cardiff dates have yet been added to the Eras Tour.
Tickets for the Eras Tour will be sold via Ticketmaster.
