Taylor Swift has announced 14 new shows to her Eras Tour, including an extra show at Anfield with an appearance from a special guest.
Swifties in the UK have been anxiously waiting today to know whether they will be receiving a presale code for priority access to ticket sales. However, demand for her shows in Liverpool and across the world has been so high that extra gigs have been added.
The singer was already due to perform on June 14 and 15 2024 at Anfield, but she will now have another gig in the famous stadium. She will be joined by legendary American rock band Paramore.

In a statement posted on Instagram, Taylor said: “Really can’t contain my excitement because … we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour. And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!! @yelyahwilliams and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”
Extra dates have also been added at Wembley Stadium in London, in addition to several other European countries. Taylor’s extra gig at Anfield will take place on June 13.
In an official statement, Liverpool Football Club said: “Global superstar Taylor Swift has added a third show to her Anfield dates next summer, as her career-defining show Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour comes to Liverpool, as part of the UK and European leg of her world tour.
“The award-winning singer-songwriter will now perform at the iconic home of Liverpool Football Club on Thursday 13 June as well as Friday 14 and Saturday 15 June 2024. There will be special guest appearance from Paramore on all three Anfield dates.

“Anfield is now a destination of choice for leading acts across the world. There are no concerts at Anfield this summer due to the ambitious Anfield Road expansion build, which will see capacity at LFC’s home grow from 54,000 seats to 61,000.
“The extended Anfield Road Stand is set to be completed in time for the start of the new season, it is the third major capital build project undertaken by LFC in recent years, following the build of the new Main Stand in 2016, and the opening of the state-of-the-art AXA Training Centre in November 2020."
