It’s the clip that keeps on giving: Selena Gomez leans down to tell Taylor Swift something while the two close friends were at the 2024 Golden Globes.

Then, Swift’s jaw drops open in shock. There was a lot of speculation and lip-reading going on, with talk that Gomez told Swift that she tried to get a photo with fellow actor Timothée Chalamet, but was told no by Chalamet’s girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.

Again: That’s all speculation at this point. But born out of that is the perfect meme format of someone telling something to another person that shocks them.
