Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have reportedly split after just one month of dating.
The musicians first sparked romance rumours at the beginning of May and have since been spotted on a number of cosy-looking outings, with speculation mounting that Matty was even set to move in with the superstar singer.
However, the pair received a lot of backlash for their rumoured romance after a series of controversial comments made by The 1975 frontman.
And now, it seems their relationship wasn't meant to be, with one source claiming the pair had "always" just been casual.
"She had fun with him, but it was always casual.
"They are no longer romantically involved," the source told People.
News of Matty and Taylor's relationship came just weeks after the breakdown of her relationship with her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn.
One source has claimed Matty was simply a rebound relationship for Taylor following her split from Joe.
"Everyone who really knows her has been saying all along that this was a fun, good time thing that would last as long as it lasted and would be no big deal once it was done," they said.
Speaking to Page Six, the source added: "She will not be writing albums about this one. It was a summertime thing. Does everyone have amnesia about Tom Hiddleston?"
News of Taylor and Matty's romance came as they were spotted out and about in New York together, with Matty even supporting Taylor at her Nashville gigs in April.
He was also seen accompanying the Shake It Off hitmaker as they left the Electric Lady recording studio in New York.
Things seemed to be going well for the pair before their rumoured split, with Matty spotted dancing and bonding with Taylor's dad at one of her gigs.
The 34-year-old was in attendance for one of Taylor's Philadelphia performances, where some fans noticed him mingling with Taylor's father Scott Swift.
"MATTY UPGRADED FROM THE TENT TO A LOUNGE AND IS STANDING NEXT TO TAYLOR’S DAD??" penned one fan alongside a snap of Matty standing next to Scott.
"HE REALLY IS PART OF THE FAMILY NOW WHAT?!?" another tweeted.
