Rangers captain James Tavernier believes they can be "proud" of the courage the team showed against Manchester United.
The Light Blues fell short at Old Trafford, with Bruno Fernandes' stoppage time goal sealing a 2-1 victory for the hosts in the Europa League.
Despite that, a depleted Rangers side more than matched their English Premier League opponents.
A mistake from Gers goalkeeper Jack Butland gifted United the lead shortly after the interval before Cyriel Dessers expertly fired beyond Altay Bayindir to equalise with just two minutes remaining.
Rangers looked on course for a well-earned point in their penultimate Europa League league-phase tie until United captain Fernandes netted the elusive late winner.

It was a gut-wrenching goal to concede, yet Tavernier wants to focus on the positives as Rangers go into the final round of fixtures next Thursday knowing they could still finish in the top-eight places should other results go in their favour.
Belgium outfit Union Saint-Gilloise are the visitors to Ibrox for that one, with Tavernier urging supporters to be right behind their heroes from the first whistle.
Posting on Instagram, the Light Blues skipper said: “Gutted to have not taken any points tonight.
“However, proud of the courage and fight we put up throughout.
“Top support from the travelling fans in the corner and in Manchester, get back safe.
“Let’s get the place rocking next Thursday at home.”
