Tattoo addict mum mistaken for 'bank robber' because her entire face is inked in

A tattoo "addict" mum who says she has been banned from pubs, restaurants and even her children's school has now been told she looks like a bank robber.

Melissa Sloan, 46, is infamous for her DIY inkings and her entire face has been covered in tattoos.

She's so hooked that she carries a tattoo machine around with her to do more when inspiration strikes.

Previously, she was told she couldn't visit her local pub as she was scaring off custom, and then she was told to never return to her local tattoo parlour as she'd 'gone too far'.

Now Melissa, from Wales, has been told she looks like a bank robber as none of her original skin is on show, so it's almost like she's always in disguise, as the Daily Star reports.

What do you think about Melissa's tattoos? Let us know in the comments...

Melissa said: "When I walk into the bank they look at me like I'm going to rob the bank - they're all scared.

"It feels like they think you're going rob them. I'm walking in and everyone just stays still and they're all frightened.

"As if I'd want to rob a bank anyway - I'd get noticed straight away."

Melissa is now in the process of changing her name to Missy - a nickname given to her by her late mother, but to do so she'll have to visit the bank.

"If I change my name to Missy I'm going to have to go to the bank, it's going to be a hassle," she added.

When she's not scaring bankers or being heckled on the street, the mum continues to be trolled on Facebook and TikTok for flaunting her tattoos.

Despite this, Melissa continues to get her face etched by her partner Luke.

The mum already built up three layers of tattoos on her face and is now starting to work more on the rest of her body.

With the aim of being fully covered - including her eyeballs - Melissa is starting to cover the blank spaces on her chest and under her chin.

"I'm going to start up here on my chest and I'm going to keep going now because obviously I'm running out there [on my face]," she said.

"I'll be starting on my chest and going around my body parts and I'll keep going all the way.

"I'm never going to stop - I can't stop."
