Tate brothers in Romania to ‘prove innocent men don’t run’

  • Andrew and Tristan Tate have returned to Romania to face charges of human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. Andrew Tate also faces a rape charge.
  • The brothers, who hold dual US and British citizenship, deny all allegations.
  • A travel ban was recently lifted, allowing them to briefly visit the US, where Florida's Attorney General opened a criminal investigation into them.
  • The Tates are under judicial control in Romania and must appear before authorities when summoned.
  • Their return follows legal challenges and accusations of procedural irregularities in the Romanian case, as well as a separate lawsuit in the UK by four women alleging sexual violence and abuse.
