Police have seized a homemade taser after stopping and searching a cyclist on a night-time ride in South Australia's Riverland region.
Police allegedly spotted the 34-year-old man riding in Renmark on Ogilvy Street about 12:45am on Tuesday.
The man's bike did not have any lights, police said, and the rider was stopped and searched.
That search allegedly led to the discovery of the homemade device.
The rider, who is from the Riverland, was charged with possessing a dangerous article.
The man has been bailed and will appear in the Berri Magistrates Court on June 19.
