Tartan Army dad in unbelievable Euros email to son's school

A TARTAN Army dad has sent an unbelievable email to his child’s school as Scotland fans begin to make their way to Germany for the Euros.

In a post on Twitter/X, Iain Meiklejohn shared a screenshot of the email, where he said his child would be going on an “educational trip” to study “the extreme emotional highs and lows that only a Scotland fan goes through”.

The email reads: “Hi!

“I am just writing to inform you that Aleks will not be attending school from Thursday, June 13th until whenever Scotland are eliminated from Euro 2024.

“We will be going on an educational trip through Germany visiting several cities where we will study the extreme emotional highs and lows that only a Scotland fan goes through.

“I will ensure Aleks completes a report on his return in full detail.

“M’on Scotland!!”

Meiklejohn said he had not yet received a response from the school, which is set to finish for the summer holidays at the end of June.

Scotland’s first match in the Euros will be against Germany on Friday.
