A police probe is underway after a man was injured in a 'targeted' street attack in Clydebank.
Officers were called to Meldrum Street around 5,.30am on Saturday morning after receiving a report of that a 25-year-old man had been injured.
The man was taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he was treated for a head injury.

Officers have been carrying out door to door enquiries in the area and will review any relevant CCTV for any additional information.
Detective Constable Thomas O’Donnell said: “We believe this is a targeted attack and it’s imperative we trace whoever is responsible. I am appealing to anyone who was in the area of Meldrum Street in the early hours of Saturday morning to contact us with any information they may have.
"Any small piece of information could prove vital to our investigation so please do pass it on.”
