It’s probably hot as hell where you live these days. We’re in that miserable summer stretch where the sun tries to give us the worst farmer’s tan ever. Luckily, staying inside and playing free PC games off Epic’s storefront is always an option.
This week, Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap and Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms are free on the Epic Games Store until July 21, 2022, at 8:00 A.M. PDT // 11 A.M. EDT // 4 P.M. GMT. The former is a cute platformer, while the latter is some sort of Dungeons & Dragons strategy management title. You can pick both up here.
Next week, Shop Titans and Tannenberg will be free on the Epic Games Store from July 21 through July 28, 2022. These are interesting additions, mainly because Shop Titans is already free on Steam, so this (probably) isn’t a limited-time deal for Epic.
Tannenberg, on the other hand, certainly is. It has an impressive “Very Positive” user rating on Steam. Not sure how active the multiplayer scene is for this, but it’s probably worth checking out if you like realistic first-person shooters.
