Tank Slappers: 2025 Americas Grand Prix review

Marc Marquez has suddenly lost the early advantage he built in the 2025 MotoGP championship after crashing from the lead in a thrilling Americas Grand Prix.

But Marquez also made headlines before the race for his controversial last-minute bike switch, which caused chaos just minutes ahead of lights out.

Autosport’s Dre Harrison and Oriol Puigdemont therefore break down all of the angles from the weekend and how the title fight now looks from here on.

There is also a special interview with the 1993 500cc world champion Kevin Schwantz, who discussed the dynamics between the factory Ducati team-mates Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia.

The prospect of Marc’s younger brother Alex being in the 2025 title fight is also mentioned, as it Schwantz’s opinion on the state of developing talent in the United States via MotoAmerica, as well as what MotoGP can learn from Formula 1’s Drive to Survive.
