The Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter is a voluntary membership and assessment scheme which has been created to help deliver good jobs with opportunities for people to progress and develop, along with a thriving and productive economy.

Daniel Kasmir, chief people and procurement officer at TalkTalk, said: "We’re proud to receive the recognition for the work we’ve done internally in order to progress from a supporter of the charter, to a member.

"It is testament to our ambition to make TalkTalk a fantastic company to work for and also our commitment to the shared effort in making Greater Manchester the best place to live and work.

"We’re now part of a brilliant collective of likeminded businesses in the region who champion culture, fairness and development. And we look forward to working together to celebrate the opportunities here."

Ian MacArthur, director, The Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, added: "I am delighted that TalkTalk are progressing to the membership tier of the charter network.

"They have worked through their membership assessment which examined the excellent and forward thinking changes made over the past year.

"It is great to work with an employer which contributes to the charter’s overall goal, in making Greater Manchester a fair and equitable place to work. I look forward to working with TalkTalk more closely in the years to come."
