Celtic’s efforts to sign Brondby striker Mathias Kvistgaarden have hit a roadblock, with negotiations between the clubs breaking down due to a difference in valuation.
As reported by Sky Sports, the Scottish Premiership giants have now turned their attention elsewhere, with discussions underway over a potential loan move for Sevilla forward Kelechi Iheanacho.
Iheanacho, 28, has English Premier League experience having been at Manchester City and then Leicester City.
He has three goals from 11 appearances for Sevilla this season.
Celtic do face competition as Middlesbrough are also looking at the Nigerian frontman.

Despite the setback, Celtic have not ruled out revisiting their interest in Kvistgaarden during the summer transfer window.
For now, however, their focus remains on strengthening their attacking options before the current window closes.
Celtic currently only have Adam Idah as a senior forward option since Kyogo Furuhashi was allowed to join Rennes for £10million.
