Talking about this new title, Surgent Studios founder Abubakar Salim revealed in a statement that the game is a result of years of dedication and exploration. He added that video games is an incredible storytelling medium which can transport players to new realms while also bringing out powerful emotions through new and familiar experiences. He went on to say that this title has allowed him to feel closer to his father while also honoring their memories together.

Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is available now in retail and digital storefronts and priced at $19.99. The game is going to have voiceovers in English and Swahili. Its original soundtrack is available to stream or purchase on different platforms starting April 26.
