The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs are in control of the SEC East race thanks to a 30-21 win over the No. 12 Missouri Tigers. Georgia is now 9-0 ahead of a massive Week 11 home game against the Ole Miss Rebels.
The Bulldogs outscored Missouri 20-11 in the second half. Nazir Stackhouse and Javon Bullard interceptions helped Georgia turn the tide in the fourth quarter against Missouri.
Georgia quarterback Carson Beck avoided turnovers and connected with tight end Oscar Delp and receiver Dominic Lovett for touchdowns. The Georgia offense operated fairly smoothly against Missouri. Georgia settled for more field goals than what the Dawgs would like, but kicked Peyton Woodring was able to convert all three of his field goal attempts.
What are the top takeaways from Georgia’s win? Who were the stars of the Georgia-Missouri game?

Georgia defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse made the play of the game against Missouri with his fourth quarter interception. Stackhouse’s first career interception featured a lengthy return that was called back due to an illegal blindside block.
Star: Georgia linebacker Jalon Walker
Georgia linebacker Jalon Walker looked like Georgia’s top pass rusher against Missouri. He recorded four tackles and 1.5 sacks. Walker showed relentless effort on his sack. He will continue to be a fixture in the Georgia pass rush.
Draft stock up: Tykee Smith
Georgia defensive back Tykee Smith has really raised his NFL draft stock this year. Smith continued his strong play against Missouri with a big hit on his sack of Missouri quarterback Brady Cook. Smith finished the day with seven tackles.

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck did not have his best game against Missouri, but he avoided turnovers and connected on a few big plays. Beck finished the afternoon with 254 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Overall, if Carson Beck can continue to avoid turnovers, then Georgia should be in a good position to pick up wins over Ole Miss and Tennessee over the next couple of weeks.
Georgia's Kamari Lassiter helps limits star Missouri WR
Georgia Bulldogs star cornerback Kamari Lassiter helped limit star Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden to three receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown. Lassiter finished the day with two tackles and two pass deflections including a key pass break up on a deep pass intended for Luther Burden.
Linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson goes down with injury
Georgia linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson recorded a team-high seven tackles against Missouri. Dumas-Johnson suffered a forearm fracture in Georgia’s win. The junior linebacker is not expected to be able to play through the injury.
Star: kicker Peyton Woodring
Georgia needed all of Peyton Woodring’s three field goals to defeat Missouri. Woodring made a 48-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to extend a six-point lead to a nine-point lead. Woodring has now made 17 of 20 field goals this year. He missed three field goals in his first three games, but the true freshman looks much more comfortable now.
What's next for Georgia
Georgia must continue to improve. The Bulldogs have had three games with a margin of victory under ten points this season. Georgia’s defense showed some improvement in the red zone against Missouri, but the Bulldogs are allowing more rushing yards than they’d like and will have to try to stop the run without Jamon Dumas-Johnson moving forward.
