An Ayrshire takeaway has announced they have sold out of their latest menu item just an hour after opening.
Tempura2go in Ayr launched their newest offering - a mega-munchie box - on Thursday.
The pizza sized box which comes with a burger, a salt n chilli portion of tempura, loaded fries and Cajun mac 'n' cheese was invented thanks to the help of a TikTok star Dad the Dish.
On Thursday we revealed how the social media sensation, also known as Simon Hannigan, visited the Beresford Terrace kitchen as he asked if he could "make one little thing."
But that 'little thing' soon developed into a monstrous meal to send mouths watering.
And the venue, which also runs a takeaway in Kilmarnock, told fans how the item was going to hit the menu this weekend.
The takeaway has now announced that customers have gone into a frenzy to order themselves a box.
Tempura2go announced that they had received a whopping 103 pre-orders in just one hour with the phone lines red hot when they opened at 11.30am.
As a result bosses at the popular chain said they are unable to take anymore orders at their Ayr branch.
A post on Tempura2go's Facebook reads: "We have been open for 1 hour and pre-sold 103 Munchie boxes in Ayr 2go for the day.
"That will be the maximum we can do today but they are still available in Killie 2go.
"Will be back on in Ayr tomorrow again."
