George Clooney has the edge here, as his 2013 movie Gravity, the sci-fi disaster movie that he starred in alongside Sandra Bullock, grossed $773 million worldwide throughout its run. Pitt's no slouch though, as his biggest movie is World War Z, which made more than $540 million at the global box office.
Highest rated movie on Rotten Tomatoes
Gravity is once again the best of the bunch for Clooney, as it scored an impressive 96% "Fresh" on the review aggregator site. Pitt just missed out on this category, as 12 Years a Slave is just one percentage point behind Gravity at 95%. Again by the slimmest of margins, Clooney edges Pitt here by just one nomination.
