Hold a work meeting outside as part of the 30 Day Wild challenge set by the Wildlife Trusts. The month long event encourages people to take part in one wild act each day for the whole of June.
Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is suggesting taking work meetings outdoors to tick off a random act of wildness. You may have to watch out for rain showers like Peter and Sienna did at Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, but that didn’t stop them from holding an outdoor meeting in the Head Office wildlife garden this week.
Determined to tick one of their random acts of wildness off for #30dayswild, they headed out with their laptop, dodging the showers and breathed in the fresh smell of rain on garden plants. Admittedly they still have to walk bear feet on grass yet as another random act of wildness, but this just goes to show, there is no excuse for anyone to not meet up outdoors for an invigorating meeting and a fresh outlook.

Just the thought of it can be regenerative with youthful thoughts of days gone past when this may have been a more common occurrence at school or at college. If a workplace doesn’t have its very own wildlife garden or outdoor space, there is still the opportunity to get out and have a walking meeting – a discussion on the go.
Plus, a sneaky opportunity of jumping in puddles if it is still a bit wet from the rain. There is no age limit to any of these activities and it always brings a smile.
