Tyler Roberts marked his Queens Park Rangers debut with a stunning goal in their Carabao Cup first round match at Charlton Athletic. The Leeds United loanee has missed the opening two games of the season through injury but made an excellent first impression on Rangers supporters with a fantastic strike from the edge of the area.
Roberts picked up the ball around 25 yards from goal, before driving at the home side's defence and arrowing an effort into the top corner. The Wales international had thought he scored the winning goal but Charlton were able to score a stoppage time equaliser to send the game to penalties.
Roberts was able to score his penalty in the shootout but it was the home side who went through with a 5-3 victory on penalties. Here is how Leeds fans reacted to Robert's goal.
