A chinese restaurant that closed its doors unexpectedly will remain shut "until further notice."
Weeks on from a Liverpool Council inspection of Tai Pan, a sign has been put in its window at, which is on the junction of Blackstone Street and Great Howard Street in Vauxhall, confirming the venue’s doors are still closed. Last month, it was reported the restaurant had shut unexpectedly.
A number of customers also turned up to the well-liked location to discover they couldn’t get in. A new display read: “Sorry we are closed until further notice.”

A spokesperson for Liverpool Council confirmed in May the local authority's environmental health team visited the premises last week, following "complaint from a member of the public".
The sign in the window reads: "Due to technical problems, the restaurant will be temporarily closed. Apologies for any inconvenience."
It is unclear when the restaurant will reopen again. Tai Pan is set above the WH Lung supermarket and wholesaler and is known for its Dim Sum and other Chinese cuisine.
Liverpool Council spokesman said the restaurant remains closed while the owners carry out work.
They added: "We’ll then pay them another visit which is likely to be next week."
