A popular restaurant has announced it is opening a third location in Nottinghamshire after the success of its first. American food chain Taco Bell will open another restaurant in Mansfield later this year.
The restaurant is well-liked by locals and students who are a fan of the chain's Mexican food and low prices. Taco Tuesdays are a particular favourite at the restaurant.
The new location looks set to be open on June 30 after Taco Bell told fans 'we've teased you long enough'. The post quickly gathered more than 700 likes and 229 shares on Facebook as news broke.
There are just 29 locations of the restaurant in the UK that sell Mexican-inspired food such as burritos, tacos and quesadillas. Although the number of Taco Bells in the UK is growing, it is nothing compared to the 7,000 across the US.
Fans reacted eagerly to the news online with many sharing that they were delighted to see one opening. Although some had hoped for other branches in places like Chesterfield.
One person wrote: At last I don’t have to go miles to enjoy Taco Tuesdays!!! While another agreed: "I will be car 397 in the queue if you need me."
One person even suggested having their wedding anniversary at the venue. He wrote: "5-year wedding anniversary at taco bell then!"
