Sylvester Stallone's wife Jennifer Flavin posted about 'spending the rest of our lives together' three months before filing for divorce.
For their 25th wedding anniversary, she took to Instagram to share a gushing post about her husband, which she has since deleted.
"Happy 25th wedding anniversary to us! [heart emojis] Thank you for always keeping me laughing, loving and protecting our beautiful family!" the 54-year-old wrote in May.
"Our marriage keeps getting better every year! I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!"
Her husband, who she recently reportedly accused of moving assets from their shared marital funds, also paid tribute to their marriage.
"Happy 25th anniversary to my amazing wife," the 76-year-old commented.
There is not enough words to describe what this incredibly selfless dedicated, patient, woman has meant to our lives and I only wish they could be another 25! Thank you sweetheart!"
She commented at the time: "Thank you my love! I love you so much and we will be spending the next 25+ years together! Keep me laughing and I'm yours for the rest of my life!"
Fast forward to the end of August, Jennifer filed for divorce from the seasoned actor.
The former model filed divorce documents in Florida on Friday, according to TMZ, after weeks of speculation their marriage was on the rocks.
The 54-year-old has allegedly requested sole domain over their home in Palm Beach ahead of their divorce proceedings.
In the divorce papers, obtained by TMZ , Jennifer claimed her husband Sylvester has been 'hiding assets'.

Sylvester confirmed the news with a statement through his publicist: “I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.”
The Rocky actor recently denied claims that an argument over his Rottweiler Dwight was the reason for his divorce with Jennifer.

However, Stallone set the record straight on Wednesday evening when he put an abrupt end to those rumours.
He told the American tabloid website: "We did not end the relationship on such a trivial argument."
Sylvester added: "We just went in different directions. I have the highest respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She's an amazing woman. She's the nicest human being I've ever met."
