Three Sydneysiders have been charged after police seized $50 million worth of cocaine concealed inside an industrial generator and loaded on to an air freighter.

It brings the total number of arrests linked with the seizure to nine, after police launched an international operation with British police to shut down an alleged criminal syndicate importing drugs into NSW.

The operation discovered 125 kilograms of cocaine in the generator, with an estimated street value of about $50 million, in July.

Six men have already been arrested, including three nabbed in London, who all remain before the courts.

On Wednesday, police searched three western Sydney homes in Bidwill, Hassall Grove and Bonnyrigg Heights, where they seized 250 grams of methylamphetamine, a Smith and Wesson .357 Magnum revolver and an Audi RS Q3.

Police also discovered more than $220,000 in cash, some of which appeared to have been stored in a shoe box at the Bidwill home.

A Bidwill man, 25, was charged with drug dealing and weapons offences and will appear in Mount Druitt Local Court on Thursday.

A Bonnyrigg man, 27, was charged with drug dealing and weapons and dealing with the proceeds of crime offences and will appear in Fairfield Local Court on November 1.

A Hassall Grove woman, 27, has been charged with dealing with the proceeds of crime and will appear in Mount Druitt Local Court on November 2.
