A swimming pool was forced to shut earlier today when a swimmer is believed to have "contaminated" the water.
Dunes in Southport, which operates as swimming baths and a gym, was forced to close one of its pools for a number of hours when one swimmer contaminated the water during what is believed to have been a swimming class with families.
The Sefton Council-run leisure centre unexpectedly closed, with staff having to clean the pool and ensure it was safe for people to use.

The leisure centre is connected to Splash World, which has been shut for more than three years, with the facility set to reopen this year after safety concerns forced a refurbishment throughout.
A spokesperson for Sefton Council said: "We can confirm that following a minor health and safety incident this morning, one of our small pools at Dunes Leisure Centre had to be temporarily closed for cleaning.
"This cleaning process has now been completed and all necessary health and safety precautions have been taken, allowing us to fully reopen the pool this afternoon."
