Swiffer, the brand behind the iconic floor duster and beloved WetJet, launched its PowerMop, considered the biggest innovation in floor cleaning from the brand in 20 years, this past May. Soon after the new Swiffer dropped, it quickly became an Amazon number-one new release and has gone on to become a bestseller in the Household Floor Cleaners category with nearly 6,000 perfect ratings.

There are several advantages to the Swiffer PowerMop. Unlike the WetJet, which sprays cleaning liquid out a single centered nozzle, the PowerMop disperses from two spaced-out nozzles at once to evenly coat the floor and spread out the solution. It also uses more absorbent, wider pads that feature six layers and a shredded design.
The new model is much easier to maneuver than older versions, too, with a new swivel head that can be better articulated. This way, you can mop in a straight back-and-forth motion on the floor as well as move it under a table or around bends in tight spaces.
