Sweary mum rants over tacky Mother's Day gifts that should be avoided in viral post

A sweary mum's Facebook rant about what gifts to give on Mother's Day has gone viral - with thousands of fellow mum's agreeing.

Kellie Ann George-Hamill's expletive-ridden message about what presents children should avoid buying for their mum's this Sunday has struck a chord with many mothers.

The mum from Leicester took to social media with a clear message for anyone thinking of getting a discount mug, teddies or candles - DON'T.

The Leicestershire Live reported that during the sweary rant, which has been shared 15,000 times, Kellie shared a picture of a £3 mug before saying: "Just got back from my food shop and whilst out I spotted the Mother's Day aisle.

"Whilst this stuff is cute in its own way, Mothers of young children and teenagers do not want this *****. We really don't.

"Boys. Wipe the damn toilet seat. Girls. Sit properly on the toilet cos you keep spraying and your brothers get the blame. Most importantly... When you get put to bed, go to sleep!

"Seriously kids it's the only time we get to feel human.

"Pretty certain none of the above will happen though so I'll smile politely and with gratitude at whatever you get me because you're my world and who wants full bladder control anyway?"

The now viral mum's post has seen thousands of mum's tag other family members to give them a laugh.

And with Mother's Day coming up this weekend it will certainly have some people second guessing their presents.

The mum suggested the day be renamed to "sorry your ***** got wrecked," before reeling off what mum's really want.

She says the ability to go to the toilet in peace, for other family members to tidy their own belongings and to be able to cook a meal and have it eaten "without fuss", were at the top of her list,

One mum in the comments was in complete agreement with Kellie, writing: "This is the reason I ended up choosing my own Mother's Day gifts, men will go to shops and pick out any random **** just like this.... Get my own thanks, Pay off his card, Thank you!"
